1. Corporate Identity and Educational Mission

This website, verdantcommons.org, is owned and operated by The Verdant Commons Project, Inc. ("The Verdant Commons Project") (referred to as "We," "Us," or "Our"), a Florida-registered nonprofit corporation. We maintain offices in Washington, D.C. for the purpose of encouraging state and national legislative action to reduce greenhouse gas emissions through education and information provided to and from our network partners.

Our mission is purely educational. We serve as a centralized resource and strategic force-multiplier to inform, connect, and support a "network of networks" dedicated to climate action. While we provide the data and frameworks necessary to understand and articulate the need for aggressive climate policy, we do so to empower others to engage in their own advocacy and decision-making at every level of society.

2. Information and Educational Purposes Only

All content on verdantcommons.org is provided for general informational and educational purposes only, including research on greenhouse gas emissions (carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide, and methane) and policy analysis. While we work through others to influence policymakers to enact aggressive climate policies, the information on this site is provided in good faith "as is" for educational purposes only. We make no representation or warranty of any kind, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any data or policy analysis.

3. Role as a "Networks of Networks"

As a collaborative hub, we act as a facilitator with diverse network, institution, corporatate, and organizational partners. Our role is to provide a platform for collaboration amongst networks, institutions, corporations, and individuals to enact policy change that reduces greenhouse gas emissions:
